En esta presentación, de @juanfernandez37 y @Marlex, se habla de WordPress como la navaja suiza de los sitios web, como una poderosa herramienta que ya no sólo permite crear blogs.
WordPress es estable y “tiene para rato”
- Mejora continuamente
- Posee una gran compatibilidad con sistemas obsoletos
- Es bastante fácil comenzar a crear sitios con WordPress
- Puede correr, literalmente, en cualquier servidor
- Es ampliamente testeado, funciona aproximadamente en el 16.7% de todos los sitios de Internet.
- Ofrece un servicio VIP para empresas como:

- TechCrunch
- CNN –Turner
- CBS
- TED
- Funciona sobre PHP (gratis) y MySQL(libre)
No es de extrañar que 1 de cada 6 sitios webs esté construido con WordPress.
